Buttercream Icing

At Shindigs, we have a large range of cake decorating supplies perfect for the experienced cake-maker or the budding novice! Included in this range are our delicious tubs of coloured buttercream cake icing and cupcake icing, perfect for piping or spreading over any cake or cupcakes!

Our range of 425g tubs of buttercream icing comes in: black, blue, chocolate, green, orange, pastel green, pink, purple, red, white and yellow.

They can be used to decorate cakes for any occasion: pink or blue for a baby shower or 1^st birthday party cake, white for a wedding or engagement cake, red and black for a Halloween cake, or green for those looking to make a cake or cupcakes for St Patricks Day!

For best buttercream icing results, whip the icing before use to ensure the icing becomes nice and fluffy and is easy to spread. Icing can be kept refrigerated after opening for up to 2 weeks. These tubs of icing can be piped onto cakes once whipped – check out our range of piping bags and tips for inspiration!

As well as the 425g tubs of ready to use buttercream icing, we also have a creamy white buttercream icing mix - just add milk and butter for enough delicious white buttercream icing to cover an 8” cake. This mix is also perfect for anyone wishing to control the amount of colouring or flavouring they wish to add to their icing – our range of icing colours and icing flavours are perfect for adding to this icing. However, our flavour oils (lemon and orange) cannot be used with this icing.

We also have 120g tubes of decorating buttercream icing, which come in pink, blue, white and yellow. These tubes are perfect for easily piping patterns, numbers or letters onto cakes and cupcakes!
