Cupcake Wrappers

Cupcake Wrappers are the next phase in cute cupcake decorating, and Shindigs stocks some great designs including licenced cupcake wrappers! 

Cupcake wrappers are a great way to finish off your cupcake creations, making them look like a professional masterpiece!  They are also very handy if you are baking darker cupcakes such as red velvet cupcakes or chocolate cupcakes.  When you bake these cupcakes in their cases, they will nearly always make the case look dark also, which can be very disappointing especially if you had patterned cupcake cases!  This is because the cupcake bakes onto the paper, thus making it the same colour as the batter.  The best ways to get around this is to bake the cupcakes in foil cupcake cases or to bake them in plain cases and use cupcakes wrappers.

We stock a great range of cupcake wrappers in a variety of designs and patterns, suitable for almost any occasion!  There are some great designs for kid's birthdays as well as for baby showers.  Some of the cupcake wrappers come with picks for the top of the cupcake.  There are even gorgeous picket fence cupcake wrappers from Wilton - ice some grass in green and add a few flowers and you have beautiful little garden cupcakes!  Most of the cupcake wrappers work in the same way - they have a tab on one side and a slot on the other.  Simply slide the tab into the slot to create a nice snug fit.  The baked cupcake then goes into the cupcake wrapper and voila!  You are done!  Depending on the design of the wrapper, you may find it easier to ice your cupcakes once they are in the wrapper.
