State of Origin Party Ideas!

Nothing is better than watching the footy with a few friends and celebrating the greatest game in the world! With State of Origin just around the corner, it’s time to start breaking out the blue or maroon in support of your favourite team (or both if you’re neutral in this case!) Don’t forget to get some balloons, decorations, tableware and other party supplies to celebrate the matches in style!

         

Blue or maroon balloons to decorate the party area would be awesome, as well as some blue and maroon crepe paper streamers – it’s pretty simple to decorate for a State of Origin party! Obviously, the same goes for choosing tableware – blue or maroon, or if you don’t have a particular team and still want to celebrate the matches, why not mix and match? Some maroon napkins, light blue plates and white cutlery would look great!

        

Some face paint and wigs would be a big hit, too – as if you needed any more atmosphere at a State of Origin party! 

     
As for party treats, some blue & maroon iced cupcakes would win over all of the hungry footy fans! For an extra touch, you could even make little fondant football decorations to adorn the cupcakes – too easy! The classics will need to make an appearance, obviously – chips, sausage rolls, pies and beer (like we need to tell you!)
